Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 1 cup (2 sticks or 227 g) Unsalted Butter Softened
- 1 cup (220 g) Sugar
- ½ cup (110 g) Packed Brown Sugar
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 1 tsp. (6 g) Salt
- 1 tsp. (6 g) Baking Soda
- 1 tsp. (5 g) Vanilla Extract
- Scant cup 140 g Sourdough Discard
- 2 ½ cups (300 g) All Purpose Flour
- 2 cups (320 g) Semisweet Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350F degrees
Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar on medium speed in your stand mixer.
Add egg yolks and mix on medium until incorporated.
Add in salt, baking soda, and vanilla extract and mix on medium until incorporated.
Mix in sourdough discard on medium speed. Be sure to not overmix.
Add in flour 1 cup at a time mixing on medium speed.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Place on cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
